Colin Salmaggi

Owner/Artist

Start: A carpenter and historian, Colin Salmaggi brings not just skill but historical significance to his artwork.  In 2008, Colin found a beautiful wood table put out to the curb and felt the need to repurpose the piece.  He decided he wanted to transform the table destined for a landfill into something that would once again be appreciated. The orginal Long Island Map Table was the result.

Products & Services: We offer an array of products and we use a wide variety of mediums to create the perfect piece for you.  Some of the mediums we use include Spruce planks, Pine tabletops, Oak, Butcher Block, Mahogany, Poplar, Cedar shingles, along with rough cut pieces of various woods.  We can ship the item to your location and also offer pick-ups for local customers looking to save on shipping costs.

NOTE:  Custom order pieces will usually take 3-4 weeks to complete depending on size, detail, and seasonal volume which may cause longer turnaround.  The artist reserves artistic license and therefore has final say on design, execution, and rendering of a specific concept.

All payments must be made in full upon notification of an order's completion before the piece will be shipped.  Shipping cost and sales tax are not included in advertised price. Given the nature of wood, pieces may become damaged or warped if exposed to the elements without proper treatment for such conditions.

LIWR stands behind its products and will replace any piece that does not meet established standards.  There are no refunds or returns for custom or personalized art pieces.
